Busy busy busy busy

Well, I have been too busy and have too many guests to blog lately. SO alot has happened and we're still alive! I would like to post some pictures of my sister's visit. We had so much fun, she was here for a week with her two oldest. My kids skipped some school but at least we all did fun educational things like Shamrock farms and Tucson zoo. I wish I could have at least one of my sister's visiting at all times. It is hard to live so far away from any family and when they come to visit its such a treat. My family has been so gracious in taking the time and money to come see us, we love it!

I highly recommend Shamrock farm tours for everyone, especially kids. Its so fun to see how the cows are milked and fed and bathed and cooled. They are treated so well. I love their ice cream, you get some after the tour as well as chocolate milk!

Poor little man handled cows!

After church, we were staring at the sun but I insisted we all get a picture in front of my pretty flowers.

This is the day we went out to Picacho peak. The girls played on these funny swings forever and ever. The weather was perfect. This is Arizona after all.

We hiked the big 0.2 miles to the childrens cave. Which is one of my favorite spots at Picacho. Can you believe that Picacho is shutting down in June. I'm going to be sick about it. It has been my favorite picnic spot since we moved here.

Anyway now on to Maysa's birthday. She finally turned 3, was so happy to have her cousins and great grandpa to celebrate with. Now she really isn't a baby anymore!

She loves this newborn pony castle, and is quite protective of it. She will share.... someday.

Oh! Who's this! I LOVE giraffes. They are such pretty and majestic and gentle creatures. I am so glad to have finally discovered the Tucson zoo. It is small but beautiful and full of fun animals like polar bears! Highly highly recommend this zoo.

The girls got to hand feed this one, what a fun experience!

The little train ride around the lake is just lovely. We thought it was strange that it was the zoo train but didn't go around the zoo at all.! Oh well, it was lots of fun.

I loved having my sister and girls visit. I wish they stayed longer. Between the 2 of us, we made about 70 flower hair clips. We are so weird. Right now we have Dan's mom and Grandpa staying with us, they were also here a little bit when my sister was here. Thank goodness we've been blessed with a large home with a great big welcome sign out front! This post has taken forever and if you got this far then you should win a prize. I will post some more pics tommorow.
