My Birthday, New Camera

For my birthday Dan bought me a new camera! So I had some great test subjects to work with all day. Oh and a pink laptop, he really really spoiled me this year! Do you love your neighbor? Yes I do! She baked me a cake, how thoughtful and kind of her!

Sea World

Can I say enough about Sea World! We only went one day, but wished we went 2. The whale show was by far the most fun, but everything and all the rides were just a blast.

Fall Break at KQ Ranch

We had a cabin rental in the mountains near San Diego during fall break. It was such a fun week, I'm so glad we went. When we got to KQ Ranch there was an envelope with our key just right at the booth. We thought it was funny, and felt like we were right at home.

This resort is wonderful, there is a playground, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, fishing pond, kids club, bounce house, games and craft house, tetherball, minigolf, frisbee golf, swimming pool, hot tub. And the best part, it was deserted at this time of the year. There were 2 other families from Arizona on fall break and maybe 2 or 3 older couples. Most of the time, the weather was fabulous, but the last couple days a bit rainy and cold. Which was such a welcome relief coming straight from Arizona hot hole.

Pumpkin Apple Pie... The very best pie on earth from Julian, California,enough said.

It was a fun and relaxing week. I love staying in a cabin with my family even though its tiny, we drank alot of hot chocolate, played lots of games, swam, and ate lots of yummy food, can't wait to go again!

Dad is the favorite, what can I say, he wins them over every time.

Their first car ride at Home depot, Dan wanted to do this with them forever. They really got a kick out of driving around in their very own "car" cart.

Another picture worth a thousand words... It was just so funny to see their reaction, they had no idea this was supposed to be scary.

Kartchner Caverns

Lillian and her girls came to Arizona for part of the summer. We had fun times with them. SHe invited Elena and I to go to Kartchner caverns with her one Saturday. It was really fun. I have been wanting to go there for a while. We took some pictures in the visitor center, we were not allowed to take pictures inside the actual cave. This is Talia and Elena standing in front of a demo stalactite.

Chanel had a birthday while she was here, so we had a fun time celebrating with her and some neighbors. We miss them, now they are gone back to Canada!

Comings and Goings of the past few months

My dad came to visit in June. He rode Dan's motorbike everywhere for transportation. He said it was like putting your face through a blowtorch. I don't think the Arizona heat agreed with him. He is so funny

Dan and I had a very rare opportunity to go overnight to a resort in Phoenix for his Frito Lay award party. The plant won some kind of award and we all got to stay at a fancy resort, they showered us with gifts as well. 2 things though, Dan was getting over the flu, so he felt like throwing up most of the time, and I was going to be called as the new relief society the next morning at church. So we had to leave the next morning at 6am. I was a nervous wreck so I didnt eat hardly a thing at the mile long buffet, chock full of CHEESECAKE!, and Dan was too sick to eat, so it was not the best of times. However we did manage to take this nice picture of ourselves before the banquet.

Maysa's first day of kindergarden, she was so excited, ready at 7am and it didn't start till 11:30.

Ward Campout July 2012

At the end of July we went camping for one night at our ward campout. I have never been so cold in my life. Ok, thats not true, but I forgot how awful it is to sleep in a tent. The twins slept great, and here I was shivering and worrying about them all night not sleeping a wink, how silly. It was fun for the most part. Camping with babies is not at all on my bucket list but my best friends in the ward were going and somehow they talked me into it. We did have fun though :} honest

The twins got soooooo dirty, what could be more fun than digging in the dirt all day!

The girls went on the zip line. They loved it and wanted to go again and again.
