Twins turned 1 years old!!! It was a huge milestone for me and the family. Smooth sailing from here on.... :)

"Okay, I'll just dig right in then.... ya but, I'm not so sure..."

"This is how its done boys!"

The Zooooooooo!

We are still using our zoo pass. Thank goodness it will expire in September, because I'm kind of getting sick of going to the zoo. I've been there A MILLION times...! But this past time we went was actually really fun, cause we did things we don't normally do, like eat an entire bag of kettle corn and go on the paddle boats...

But the funnest part is the spray areas, when its 100 degrees out, there really is nothing better to do there. You might as well just get wet. I wasn't planning on taking the babies in, but away they went and really loved it. This is me holding Jasper.

Jayden even ventured out on his own to get a taste of the sprinkles.

Wasn't long before the clothes came off, they played for quite a while, but I was paranoid about sunburn so we didn't stay there too long. They would have liked to spend the whole day playing in the sprinkles.

Here is another weird iphone app picture, but the girls sure loved this paddle boat. It was fun to watch them paddle around all the pelicans at the beautiful zoo lake.

Here is the original, is it better?? I don't know...

Ended off the day with a lovely carousel ride. The girls never tire of it, it brings them sheer joy, even Elena. Don't ask me what they are looking at though, little weirdos!

Sierra's Birthday Bash!

Sierra turned 9 at the end of May, right when school let out. She always looks forward to the end of the school year, but for various reasons!

My pretty little girlie is growing up way too fast. She is actually 9 going on 12. Sierra loves Hannah Montana, Icarly, Wizards, Justin Beiber, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and just about anything to do with teeny boppers, she is all about it.

dun da da dunnnn! Of course, its an ipod! First ELena, then Maysa gets one, FINALLY Sierra gets her own ipod. We teased her for months, when it was time for scripture reading, Dan would say- Ok time for scriptures, everybody get out your devices.... except for Sierra, you get to use the book.... haha , we would all laugh, Sierra would look like she was going to cry with her head down, then a couple seconds later, she would giggle and laugh too. She knew her birhtday was coming up...! She likes being teased, she handles it better than anyone in the family.

Sierra got to have a double party again this year with her best friend Kamryn. So of course a swimming pool party was in order. Sierra will be going back to Desert Willow school this next year with Kamryn, no more Charter school for her, back to basics. Which I feel great about, because the whole year ahead in math thing, makes NO SENSE to me. For heavens sakes, whats the rush!

Heres the lot of them. What else- but kids just love to swim, its a no brainer for a birhtday bash.

Heres the My Little Pony cake that Kamryn's aunty made for us all. Isn't it wonderful, I put the picture on a fancy app on my iphone and now I think it might be a little too bright! But it was delicious and so super cute! Thanks again Jen!

Happy Birthday Sweet little Sierra, don't forget you are only 9!
ha ha :)

Summer fun, so long as we're wet!

We have spent alot of time at Dan's sister's house "taking care" of her pool this summer. What a blessing to have access to a pool in Arizona SUMMER heat! seriously.

The pool is still a bit too cold for me, what a wimp I am, I like it when it feels like bath water. (thats how it will feel in July).

Jasper really loves the pool, he lets Dan push him around in this cute little floaty thing.

The girls would swim till midnight if I let them. It is difficult to convince them to leave. SO I keep a bucket of ice cream there and when I want to go home, the girls are bribed with ice cream cones in order to hop out. I am convinced they are starting to grow fins.

Poor Jayden, he HATES the water, he even hates his baths. He wont let us take him in, he screams the whole time. So here he is just happy to sit and watch the others have fun without him. I hope this changes soon!

Outside of Lillian's house there is a big green strip. Around 5pm, huge sprinklers come on and the girls love running through them. Its so much fun to watch them, I remember how much I loved doing the same when I was a kid.

Oh.. to be young again.....!
