Its May already!!
Well too much has happened since my last post. Number 1- I lost my camera..... This is not good. The twins started walking yesterday... and I didn't have my camera. I have been taking pictures with my iphone camera. But the iphone produces
sorry excuses for pictures, everyone is either blurry or vampires. Dan says its good enough, Suzi says we need new camera ASAP.. So anyhow... Lets see what we've been up to these busy months....
Dan bought himself an ipad for his birthday. Here he is multitasking- watching conference and feeding the twins. Dan thought he was turning 37 and I thought he was turning 35. We argued about it late into the night, and laughed too because we were so dumb. Then we finally agreed he was 36, and that we need to go back to those math classes we aced in high school... ;)
I made him key lime pie, one of his favorites. But I was informed later on that he actually meant he wanted peach cobbler for his birthday. Maybe he meant both, ya he definetly wanted both. But I informed him if he would like two desserts for his birthday then he needs to pick a second wife...

We had a few visitors this winter as usual. First Arlene and her sister and parents came a couple different times. They have a very nice little house in Ghost Ranch. It was fun to visit with them. (I do have some pictures of them- on my lost camera). Then we had Dan's brother Jon and wife Vivi come visit. We rode camels at the zoo, went tubing at the lake, raquetball, movies and a little Baja Fresh. I am certain they dreaded going home to cold Calgary by the end of the week. Jumping in the lake one day and scraping windshields the next. "Oh Canada...."
Aren't they so cute. I wish they could live here.
Next..
Dan and Maysa took a big old trip to Canada shortly after Jon left, for his Grandpa's funeral. We decided four hours before his flight left, that he would take Maysa with him. I won't be so bold as to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed my time without them. That might be a little abrasive. And I won't say how nice it was to have a break from my sweet high spirited little 5 yr old angel. Hmmm, that would not be nice. So I will just say they had a lovely time in Canada. It was so much fun to facetime on the ipad everyday and see all the fun pictures. First they went to Calgary, then HighRiver, then Edmonton, then Kelowna, then Vancouver, then Bellingham. Dan my ever so bold and motivated entrepreneur was able to secure 2 more investors for our growing "Brintcor" business... flipping Arizona real estate. But that is a whole different ball game I won't get into right now.
Lots of really funny and sweet memories with Grandpa Cordara.
Cold day at Grandpa Cordara's funeral
First day in Canada, nice and cold
She even got to build a snowman, lucky girl.
She was adored by her aunties. Playing games with Auntie Lillian
Getting hair done by Auntie Angie.
Their last day in Vancouver, they were wearing shorts and smelling spring flowers. How funny is that. What a trip, almost 2 weeks they were gone.
This was our surprise for Dan and Maysa when they returned from Canada... A new living room! It was alot of work, great deals on craigslist, Dan was so impressed and surprised!!
Summertime... is definetly HERE
The heat isn't bothering me so much this year. Maybe its cuz I'm not carrying around 15 pounds of baby boy everywhere I go this year.... That could be. Still catching up on all my lovely iphone pictures, yay......
This is our assurety that summer has indeed arrived. 7 scorpions found in one night with the black light, in our yard. Heaven bless us we haven't seen any in the house for a couple years. Thanks also to Dan's great seal job. A very common scene in Brinton household. Just another day in paradise for two sweet little babes. What is better than a campfire in your own backyard. The weather is so nice in the evenings here, 75 degrees, perfect for outdoor fun, once that blessed sun settles. Simple pleasures, a stick, a hotdog, a marshmellow and a fire. What more could a kid ask for?! Elena is full force into Young Womens program this year. SHe is so grown up and such a great help around the house and with the twins. We love that Dan's dear sister has a house here. We are more than happy to look after it and her beautiful pool while they are in Canada most of the year... :) I do love lounging at the pool, so long as my skin doesn't have to touch the cool water, I'm good to go! In July, when the water turns warm, I'll be diving in. If you feel blinded by my flourescence just scroll down really quickly. ! Yes its true, the twins are walking, 2 to 4 steps at a time, then crash. They never tire of trying, its pure entertainment for us to laugh at their cute expense all day.. Last but not least, Dan's parents left for their mission to Guatemala City!!! We have been keeping up with them almost daily through ipad facetime. They JUST LOVE it so far, and we are so happy for them!

Twins Update
We have so many pictures of the twins, I decided to do separate posts for them. They are at such a fun and cute age, its hard for us not to squeeze them and kiss them to pieces everyday. Warning---- Picture overkill...! Low quality unfortunately. All pictures from my iphone of all things, time to rip the house apart and find that camera of mine.
See what I mean, they are so smart...
got new bathseats for them, probably my best purchase EVER
just looking cute in their highchairs, so long as they're fed... they're happy!
This is a very common site in our house. THEY GET INTO EVERYTHING!!!
Doesn't Jayden look so pretty just sittin there. Dan doesn't like it when I call the twins my pretty boys..
Jasper standing up, almost walking!
Jasper again, in his little bear hat
Twins first haircut..!
My friend (Kim Littlejohn) was so nice to come over and help me cut the twins hair. I was WAY too scared to do it. There's my handsome big boys! Sierra loves to help them play the piano, she is their second mother. We like to go to the primary room at church when the twins are too uncontrollable during sacrament. Dan didn't think that was so great so he got special permission to be late for his spanish branch meetings so we wouldn't escape to the primary room anymore. This is the twins at church... people are amazed I have them both sleeping. But its easy when you take them for a walk during sunday school, what else am I going to do with them!! They love playing on the tramp with daddy, he is soooo much fun! Elena has learned to play and practice beautiful songs with two little helpers by her side everyday. They can even get some notes in too, if they stretch real far...! Jasper about to get his haircut, the cracker.. didn't work too well, he spit it out right away.
